A wonderful journey in a lesser-known part of the country, but with magnificent cities and monuments, the discovery of an extraordinary pilgrimage site located before Benares, yet equally moving. We were able to encounter wild tigers and bears in a beautiful reserve where these animals roam freely. The tours led by a knowledgeable and friendly guide delighted us. Finally, the original and typical accommodations of high quality charmed us.
